Levels of Care

High Observation

Our Lady of Peace has eight state-of-the-art critical care beds with hemodynamic and cardiac monitoring. Patients in this area usually require mechanical ventilation, acute dialysis, have multiple organ system failure or have experienced severe trauma. The nurse to patient ratio in this unit is 1:2.

Intermediate Level of Care

There are eight telemetry beds in this area. The nurse to patient ratio in this unit is 1:3-4.

Medical/Surgical Unit

The area treats medically or surgically complex patients and has 16 beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6.
